This jewel arrived on the market without having been hallmarked at the time of its manufacture. It must be said that in the midst of the war we can understand that the regulations were not followed to the letter. The warranty department therefore compensated for the lack of a hallmark by affixing, before it goes on sale, the "Owl" hallmark for 18k 750 / °° gold and the "Mascaron" for platinum. It is interesting to note that the "Owl" carries as "different" the number 75 which is the one reserved for Paris.

Unsigned brooch (Certificate of Mrs. Françoise CAILLES and Mr. Jean-Norbert SALIT). Each of the wings is embellished with six old cut diamonds in bezel setting on platinum and four rows of calibrated sapphires. The head is an old cut diamond in bezel setting on platinum. Presence of three "Owl" hallmarks and one "Mascaron" hallmark.
