HERMES

Starfish brooch

Reference : 8303

Marine animal of the Echinoderm family and the Asterid class, starfish are carnivorous and feed on small living creatures that line the seabed. Their movement is very slow and is carried out thanks to a multitude of small "feet" aligned under the arms, they do not swim. Their calcite-based structure protects them from predators. Some have thorns, sometimes poisonous, to counter the jaws of large fish. If an arm is removed, it grows back without any problem !
